"Our new home was built on the rear strata block of our family home of the past thirty six years. The Designer considered all important aspects that we required for our new home to come up with a design that we liked. The rear of the block was cleared and the Supervisor was tasked with making these house plans into a home.
Living adjacent to the building site gave us access to every stage of the building process. This meant that the Supervisor had to answer our numerous and sometimes demanding questions which he took in his stride. Our new home had special requirements including adjustments to suit an uneven block and retaining walls which had to be built on three sides. His pivotal role in overcoming these obstacles and supervising the entire project cannot be understated.
The end product is a home that we love and will be spending many years enjoying."

Stark reality: Building a house is painful.
Harsh truth: Building your “dream home” is mind‐numbingly excruciating.
This is one of those things that people don’t talk about like male pattern baldness or grammar. But trust me, when you’ve been to a dozen tile shops, followed by a dozen paint places, to then go to a dozen flooring companies, you get asked questions that no mere male wishes to answer. You know the questions I’m talking about. The ones that sound like which shade of grey did you prefer, should we do a feature tile in the bathroom, does this kitchen tap make me look fat?
These are all very interesting questions but I just need to know three things. That’s it, just three little things. Firstly, I need a house that won’t fall down so my family is safe, secure and happy. Secondly, I need to know that I’m getting value for my money and when I come to sell the house (eventually) I’ll make some profit. Finally, I need to find a way to squeeze an extra 8 hours in my day to take up that third full‐time job I’ve been so keen to get so that I can buy the skinniest kitchen tap money can buy.
I can honestly tell you though, that there’s one part of the whole building process that we just loved. That’s the awesome crew down at Platinum Homes. Sounds a bit cheesy doesn’t it, but it’s true. We walked in wanting to custom build our dream home. We went from our rough pencil drawings to computer drawn plans with roof pitches and 3D models. Talking to people who know what they’re doing and sharing our vision.
We have built a few different homes from a few different builders, but the one thing that stands out for Platinum Homes is their tradies. Who would’ve thought that tradies are keen to meet you on site and discuss what they’re going to do. I mean why would they when they already have a plan and instructions. Wrong! Attention to detail is what we noticed. These guys actually gave a damn about their workmanship. You don’t see that too often nowadays. It is a custom build after all, you both can’t have everything covered, and they know that.
Platinum Homes removed all those little issues that could potentially turn into heated discussions. The quality of the build of the home is without fault. We had reassurance from the staff that they would work with us. Little things like emailed communication let’s you keep everything on file rather than trying to remember what who’s‐his‐name said. Regular meetings with sales consultants and pre‐start people as well as access to the site supervisor, is all standard practice at Platinum.
Now that we’re in our home, all the colour choices, fitouts and more specifically, arguments, are a distant memory. It’s everything we wanted and more. A place we can make a future in, together. We love it and recommend Platinum Homes to everyone we see. Everyone who walks in makes comment. And if making it to the HIA judging finals is any indication, so do they.
So don’t take just our word for it, have a look yourself. Hop on the Platinum Homes website, see how easy it is and see how we made a house our home. It’s that simple. Plus mention our names and they’ll throw in some skinny kitchen taps for free!
Happy building,

"I just wanted to touch base and let you know what a fantastic job your Site Supervisor has been doing at our new home. His professionalism and communication has been second to none and his advice on matters invaluable. Coming from a sales background myself I am aware of the skill sets needed to deal with customers and their often questionable asks and opinions and your Site Supervisor has handled such requests from my wife and I in his stride and done so with a positive attitude. Quite simply he gets the job done quick, simple and professionally.
I have to say his involvement in the building of our home has been a pleasure and he is always up for a chat and a laugh and we both look forward to his visits.
Given the team you have there I have no hesitation in recommending your building company to any who ask from your Sales Executive, who should also be commended on her professionalism right through to Site Supervisor and the tradesman you use.
As this project nears to an end I am already in the process of looking for the next one and I would find it very difficult to even engage another builder for any future jobs.
Once again thank you for providing us with a great team who made an initial daunting prospect into a relatively easy transition and to that I congratulate you! Cheers"

"This is to thank you again for going through pre-start with us today. Your genuine concern for detail, your listening skills and knowledge of products, made our experience a pleasant one. Your straight forward approach to help is, without doubt, also much appreciated."

"Nothing was too hard for Platinum Homes when building our new home. I know a lot of people building at the moment and there is a lot of angst around. Platinum Homes went over and above what they had to do. They were very respectful to the concept and never cut corners."
