Building Contract

Building Contract

Contract documentation will be prepared and your Sales Consultant will make contact with you to arrange a time to review and sign these.

You will be provided with:
  • a covering letter (which specifies the date by which the contracts must be signed and returned);
  • a Lump Sum Building Contract;
  • a Contract Quotation;
  • an Addenda to the Specifications;
  • Standard Specifications; and
  • Contract Drawings.
  • Three copies provided (1) Lender (2) Clients and (3) Builders.

What will you need to do?

You’ll be required to review and authorise all copies. The Contract documents will need to be signed and witness by a third party (who must be over 18 years of age). The Addenda to Specification and Construction Plans will need to be initialled on every page.

Once completed, the three copies are returned to the Platinum Homes office or to your Sales Consultant. We will then sign and return the client and lender copy to yourself.

What happens next?

Once we have received and checked the Engineers drawings, Home Warranty Insurance and your signed contract we can then submit to your local Council for a building licence.
